Solix Technologies Rolls Out Enterprise Data Management Suite

Solix Technologies, Inc., provider of enterprise data management solutions, announced Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (EDMS) for Oracle Exadata.

The EDMS platform supports the entire information lifecycle for Exadata including data migration, data tiering, database archiving, database masking and test data management.

By tiering data through an ILM framework, organizations are able to classify, protect, migrate, archive and retire enterprise data. ILM helps organizations meet compliance objectives, improve application performance, and reduce overall costs associated with data growth.

EDMS for Exadata solutions include:

• Database Archiving to improve application performance and availability, and reduce costs.
• Application Retirement to decommission legacy applications, migrate and retire enterprise data, and meet compliance objectives.
• Data Validation to compare source and target data and ensure data integrity
• Data Discovery to scan, detect and identify sensitive data.
• Database Masking Meet security and PCI compliance objectives by substituting sensitive data with a syntactically correct, but fictionalized copy of the data.
• Test Data Management creates non production database subsets fast, and reduce non production storage requirements by up to 70%.

Solix is a gold level member of the Oracle Partner Network (OPN), and the EDMS is prepackaged with validated metadata repositories for Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS), PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Siebel applications.
