Everpure: A New Identity for a New Era

We are now Everpure. Our new identity represents our evolution from redefining storage to rethinking data management, as we help customers unleash the power of data. 

Pure Storage earned its reputation by defining what “great” looks like in the data storage industry. For 12 years we have been consistently recognized for being the most innovative and for having the highest Net Promoter Scores. Our continued innovation and customer-first focus have enabled us to scale to the point where Pure Storage now invests more in data storage R&D than our competitors. And today, we can support all customer storage needs with the most consistent software and hardware architecture.  

Everpure Fusion: enabling the enterprise data cloud
Everpure strategy addresses two major enterprise challenges by enabling our customers to create their own enterprise data cloud. The first is that customers manage their datasets with people, not software. This makes dataset management inconsistent, labor-intensive, and subject to error. There is no automated data set lifecycle management. The second challenge is that traditional enterprise storage architecture, designed for operational systems of record, is not optimized for serving AI and analytics’ systems of intelligence. Between the two lies a gulf of human labor, extract, transform, load (ETL) tooling, weeks of tweaking, and yet more storage and compute hardware and software. Our enterprise data cloud strategy, solves this.

We are now positioned to do more than automate data storage for our customers; we can enable them to better manage their global enterprise data at scale. With Everpure Fusion and our enterprise data cloud architecture, enterprises can apply policy-driven governance across workloads, moving beyond traditional storage to standardize, protect, and intelligently manage their data sets. This represents a meaningful evolution from infrastructure management to comprehensive data governance and delivers uniquely differentiated capabilities for enterprise workload management.

Extending our data management roadmap
And this week, we announced a definitive agreement to acquire 1touch, further extending our enterprise data cloud into advanced data management. With 1touch, customers will be able to unlock the strategic value of their data and make it AI-ready. 1touch’s technology addresses enterprise-wide data challenges by enhancing cyber resiliency, strengthening data sovereignty and regulatory compliance, and enabling deeper data characterization and contextualization for AI readiness. These capabilities are foundational to preparing data for AI and represent a critical building block for a future in which AI is deployed enterprise-wide.

We are focused on helping customers transform operational data into actionable information by adding data discovery, classification, contextualization, and enrichment directly into the platform, extending the enterprise data cloud concept. Our new name, Everpure, represents our adaptable, ever-evolving platform and customer commitments – an intelligent, “living system” grounded in our Evergreen promise, as well as in the founding principles of the company. 

A brand built to innovate
Together, these advancements reinforce our strategy to lead an evolution from operational storage to intelligent data management, empowering customers to extract greater value from their data in an increasingly AI-driven world. Our new Everpure brand reflects this strength and captures who we have become and where we are headed.  

While this moment signals change, it also reinforces what has always defined us. Our name has changed to reflect the sophistication of our platform and the breadth of our innovation, but our values remain unchanged. Customer centricity, quality, innovation, and the high standards our customers rely on remain the foundation of this next chapter.  

We are not changing who we are. We are ensuring our identity matches the scope of our impact and the future we are creating in data management. Like our Evergreen technology, we are non-disruptively upgrading our brand for the future.
