It was a surprise a few days ago when Shimon Ben-David announced his departure of Weka where he spent almost 13 years being CTO for the last 6 years. He’s now director of product management at Google Cloud for AI storage. Google Cloud provides a high performance parallel file system service named Google Cloud Managed Lustre based on DDN EXAscaler, does it mean Google will adopt Weka?…
