History 2004: Bisser Dimitrov, Former CEO of Gigastorage, Appealed Verdict
As well as Jean-Pierre Maillot, former director of Agency for Development of Territories of Belfort
By Jean Jacques Maleval | July 11, 2024 at 7:58 pmWe thought that the Gigastorage case was over, with the conviction by a French court of 2 accused parties, Bisser Dimitrov, former CEO of the HDD manufacturer, and Jean-Pierre Maillot, the former director of the Agency for Development of the Territories of Belfort, to minor sentences.

Both men have decided that their suspended sentences were excessive, and have appealed the verdict. Generally speaking, appealed sentences are reduced, but not always, particularly when they started out as lenient as these…
Incidentally, we learned that Dimitrov sold his 900 squarefoot house in Los Gatos, CA for $673,000 last October.
