Keepit and Also Enter Into a Strategic Distribution Agreement Across the Nordics

Keepit, an European specialist in vendor-independent SaaS data protection, announced a strategic partnership with Also, an European IT distributors. Under the agreement, Also becomes Keepit’s distribution partner in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, effective October 1, 2026.The agreement establishes a scalable, partner-driven model for the Nordics. Through Also, IT partners gain a local and efficient path to Keepit’s full technology portfolio, while the partnership supports Keepit’s continued growth across the region.

Vendor independence and data sovereignty in a Nordic context
Keepit is the only SaaS backup and recovery vendor that operates its own independent, sovereign cloud infrastructure with tamper-proof storage, entirely separate from hyperscalers such as Microsoft, Google, or AWS. As a Danish company with its own data centers in Denmark and beyond, Keepit maintains full control over where data resides, guaranteeing that backup data is never stored in the same infrastructure as the original data. For Nordic organizations operating under increasingly stringent data sovereignty and compliance requirements, the distinction is significant: data stays in Europe, under European law, with a vendor that has no dependency on global hyperscalers.

Through Also, Nordic IT partners gain local access to Keepit’s technology combined with local invoicing, credit facilities, and channel expertise. Also will also lead partner recruitment and help existing partners build the commercial and technical skills needed to grow their data protection business.

As part of the agreement, Also’s partner network gains access to the latest evolution of the Keepit platform: AI Truth Cloud. AI Truth Cloud is designed to turn backup data into a verifiable, sovereign, and tamper-proof data resource – a foundation from which Nordic organizations can develop AI initiatives securely and responsibly. This includes solutions such as AI Safe Room and dedicated connectors for AI agents, enabling organizations to build reliable AI workflows on a data layer they fully control.
