Tiger Technology Closes $10M Series A to Power Always-On Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
3TS Capital Partners led the round, joined by TDJ Growth and Endeavor Catalyst
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 20, 2026 at 2:01 pmTiger Technology, an innovator in always-on hybrid cloud data management solutions for mission-critical operations, announced the initial closing of a $10 million Series A financing round led by TCEE Fund IV, advised by 3TS Capital Partners, with participation from TDJ, Endeavor Catalyst, Impetus, and existing investors including MFG Invest and Mr. Dimitar Ratchev.
The new investment fuels Tiger Technology’s global growth strategy, deepening its presence in the US, Europe and the Middle East, where the company has already built strong traction, while accelerating its product portfolio innovation and expanding its sales and partner ecosystem to support a growing base of enterprise customers.
“This investment is an important validation of the technology, customer trust and international business our team has built. It gives us the resources to accelerate our global expansion, amplify our partnerships with leading cloud and technology platforms, and bring Tiger Technology’s always-on, AI-ready data infrastructure to many more companies operating in mission-critical environments,” said Iravan Hira, CEO, Tiger Technology.
“Many years ago, we made a bet that felt contrarian at the time. The industry was drawing a hard line between ‘cloud’ and ‘on-premises’ – as if enterprises would eventually have to pick one and abandon the other. We didn’t believe that. We believed the real need was a transparent bridge between the two: seamless, efficient, and invisible to the workflows that depend on it. Adoption of AI, always-on data access and an increasing threat landscape are significant drivers for our solutions and our growth,” said Alexander Lefterov, founder and CTO, Tiger Technology.
Strategic partnerships with leading hyperscale cloud providers will support the company’s next phase of growth. Among them is AWS, which recently named Tiger Technology a Rising Star Partner of 2025. Tiger Technology helps enterprises accelerate cloud adoption for their largest-scale file infrastructures, creating value for both customers and hyperscaler partners.
The market opportunity
Today, more than 40% of enterprise data is still stored on-premises, 80% is unstructured, and over half of it is “dark” – stored but never analyzed or used. These gaps cost organizations millions annually and quietly stall the AI initiatives that depend on data most companies can’t yet see or activate. The global hybrid storage market is projected to reach $29.3 billion by 2030, driven by the collision of exploding volumes of unstructured data with enterprise AI adoption that needs data to be usable, not just stored.
Tiger Technology operates in the mission-critical segment, where performance degradation is itself considered a failure. Its flagship solution, Tiger Bridge, installs seamlessly on top of customers’ existing cloud and on-premise storage environments as a powerful control layer, continuously giving users and applications consistent and transparent data access. This enables organizations to place, protect, and activate data for AI and other modern applications without replacing existing infrastructure or disrupting operations.
What the investors say
“Tiger Technology stood out through a combination of unique technical breakthroughs in petabyte-level hybrid storage, mission-critical customer deployments, and a clear market opportunity driven by AI adoption, data security and sovereignty. The company has built a highly differentiated platform that enables enterprises to modernize their data infrastructure while preserving existing investments. As organizations accelerate cloud adoption and AI initiatives, Tiger Technology is exceptionally well positioned to scale globally,” said Sever Totia, Partner, 3TS Capital Partners
“What convinced us about Tiger Technology is how effectively its software solves a real and growing problem: it allows enterprises to extend their on-premises storage to the cloud without changing the applications and workflows they rely on every day. The trends behind the company are powerful: unstructured data volumes are exploding, compliance requires ever-longer retention, and AI adoption demands cloud-accessible data – while full cloud migration remains too costly and complex for most enterprises. Hybrid data infrastructure is the answer, and Tiger enables it. We are excited to support this exceptional team with capital and our experience in scaling technology businesses,” said Mateusz Sumara, Head of TDJ Growth.
“Tiger Technology is exactly the kind of company Endeavor Catalyst was built to back: deep technical roots in Bulgaria paired with the ambition and discipline to compete globally. Backing their next phase of growth is a natural extension of our mission to help the region’s most promising entrepreneurs scale internationally,” said Momchil Vassilev, MD, Endeavor Bulgaria.
Proven at petabyte scale
Tiger Technology manages over 100 petabytes of data for some of the largest and most demanding transportation, media, construction and government customers in the world. Recent client results include a 10x increase in file-restore speed during a multi-petabyte cloud migration, on-premise storage reductions of up to 90%, and unlocking 10 years worth of historical data for AI analysis.
Comments
For a company founded in 2004, 22 years ago, it appears pretty surprising to see the necessity to raise money now and this amount. We understand that the company had several "lives" and started some "sisters" companies to address vertical markets like Tiger Surveillance or Tiger Health Technology.
