Giga Computing Expands Its Heavy-Duty Compute Portfolio with New Motherboards Using Intel Xeon 600 Processor for Workstations

Exceptional core scalability and built for AI-driven workloads

Giga Computing, a subsidiary of Gigabyte and an active player in high-performance computing and data center solutions, announced two new enterprise-grade workstation motherboards for demanding workloads in engineering, AI development, data science, and media creation.Giga Computing ImageFor Intel Xeon 600 processors for workstations, the first wave of products from Giga Computing includes the Gigabyte MW94-RP0 and MW54-HP0. Designed for a traditional computer chassis, these new motherboards are feature rich and offer a significant boost in AI bound workloads.

Intel Xeon 600 Processors for Workstations
Modern workstation workloads are evolving rapidly, driven by AI, higher core density, and the need for faster data movement across the system. Intel Xeon 600 processors for workstations are built on the new Redwood Cove+ P-core architecture and the Intel 3 process, delivering a significant leap in compute capability, AI acceleration, and platform bandwidth. With expanded PCIe 5.0 connectivity, faster DDR5 memory, and the new W890 workstation chipset, this platform provides a future-ready foundation for professionals tackling demanding workloads in engineering, AI development, data science, and media creation.

Enterprise-grade Workstation Motherboards
For the new Intel Xeon 690 & 670 processor, the Gigabyte MW94-RP0 supports up to 86 CPU cores, 8-channel memory (including support for MRDIMMs), and 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes. This expert level workstation solution offers an incredible number of possibilities with six Gen5 x16 expansion slots available to scale scientific simulations, 3D rendering, and other GPU heavy tasks. To have greater storage possibilities and connections to other PCIe devices, there are two MCIO 8i connectors, and three SlimSAS connectors. For networking, there are dual 10Gb/s LAN ports to dramatically reduce the transfer time of large datasets and videos.

Mainstream users that rely on a secure and reliable workstation with RAS features and ECC memory, the Gigabyte MW54-HP0 offers a good performance per watt solution with boosted AI performance (supports FP16 AMX) at a more attractive price point. Customer will likely use this platform with an Intel Xeon 630 or 650 processor. The MW54 uses the same LGA4710-2 socket as the MW94, but has some differences including 4-channel memory and 80 PCIe 5.0 lanes. This platform features five Gen5 x16 expansion slots for GPUs and high-speed NICs, complemented by versatile storage options including three Gen4 M.2 slots and eight SATA ports. Networking is handled by dual 2.5Gb/s LAN ports, enabling fast data transfer speeds, redundancy, and link aggregation.

Together, the Gigabyte MW94-RP0 and MW54-HP0 demonstrate Giga Computing’s commitment to delivering workstation platforms that scale with the needs of modern professionals, from extreme, GPU-dense workloads to cost-effective, enterprise-reliable systems. By pairing Intel Xeon 600 processors for workstations with robust, feature-rich motherboard designs, Giga Computing empowers engineers, researchers, and creators to push performance boundaries, accelerate AI-driven innovation, and build future-ready workstations with confidence.
