Dell Acquired Dataloop AI for $120 Million
Wishing to play a key role in AI infrastructure

Dataloop, based in Herzliya, Israel, was founded in 2017 and raised a total of $49 million in 5 rounds showing a small multiple of 2.4. The website is still active and Dell didn’t report yet officially this acquisition.
DataLoop offers a data management and annotation platform that simplifies the preparation of visual data for machine and deep learning. The platform supports the end-to-end development and deployment of advanced computer vision pipelines, including data labeling, automated data operations, customized production workflows, and human-in-the-loop validation. By removing data-related bottlenecks, DataLoop enables companies to concentrate their time and resources on their core business objectives.
