Hydrolix Adds Quesma Gateway Proxy IP to Its Portfolio, Assuring Continued Kibana Support

Addition secures seamless Kibana interoperability for Hydrolix customers following Quesma's product retirement

Hydrolix Inc., the company optimizing the economics and performance of log-driven observability and edge security through its streaming data lake platform, announced it has purchased IP from Quesma to continue supporting Kibana interoperability for the fast growing roster of Hydrolix customers.

Hydrolix LogoHydrolix had previously partnered with Quesma through a reseller agreement to bundle its Kibana gateway proxy into the Hydrolix platform. Recently, Quesma notified Hydrolix of its intent to cease support for the product, and Hydrolix worked with Quesma to purchase the technology to ensure uninterrupted support for customers who depend on the integration.

“Many of our customers rely on Kibana as a familiar and powerful interface for monitoring and alerting,” said Marty Kagan, CEO, Hydrolix. “By bringing Quesma’s gateway proxy IP in-house, we can guarantee that customers will continue to enjoy seamless interoperability between Kibana dashboards and Hydrolix data. This complements our broader ecosystem approach, which also includes integrations with Splunk, Databricks, Fabric and LLM exploration tools. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Quesma as they move into their next chapter of product development.”

“Hydrolix sets a new bar for efficiency in large-scale data platforms, while Elastic’s ecosystem of tools like Kibana gives customers usability and productivity,” said Jacek Migdał, founder and CEO, Quesma. “The transaction simplifies the ecosystem and allows Hydrolix customers to enjoy the best tool for the job.”

The Quesma technology has been integrated into Hydrolix since 2024, enabling organizations to retain their existing Kibana workflows while redirecting queries to Hydrolix’s high-performance, cost-efficient platform. Customers gain the benefits of reduced storage and query costs while avoiding migration risks or dashboard rewrites. Hydrolix plans to extend Kibana support as needed to meet the requirements of Hydrolix customers.
