Mohit Aron has worked also for IBM, Zambeel, Google and Aster Data and is, for a long time, focused on scalability and resiliency. He was obviously the original CEO of Cohesity then moved to CTO, CPO and chief strategy position. He currently develops a new startup in stealth mode around AI, no surprise.

Sanjay Poonen has spent some time at Veritas, at that time it was VERITAS Software in 2004, before Symantec move and he continued after the merger until 2006. So we can easily say that he knows for 2 decades the power of Veritas Software and the established and solid market footprint of NetBackup. The mission doesn't change it is just confirmed and even more promoted.

During the recent IT Press Tour session, Sanjay Poonen unveiled this slide below that show the progress made since the official date of merger between Cohesity and Veritas, December 10th, 2024.
