Infinigate and Swissbit in Partnership

Infinigate Holding AG announces a partnership with Swissbit AG, manufacturer of storage and security solutions.

Effective immediately, Swissbit’s iShield Key family of FIDO2 security keys are available through Infinigate’s distribution network in Germany and Austria.

With the addition of the Swissbit iShield Key series to its portfolio, Infinigate is systematically expanding its range of innovative multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions. The FIDO2 security keys from Swissbit offer maximum security, user-friendliness and flexibility – developed and produced in Germany. They enable companies and organizations to effectively protect digital identities and meet regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and DORA.

Infinigate will offer its sales partners simplified access to Swissbit’s solutions via its extensive sales network. The collaboration is an important step towards further accelerating the spread of phishing-resistant authentication methods in German-speaking countries and raising awareness of “Security Made in Germany.“

The partnership will be further expanded over time to gradually extend the availability of Swissbit’s security solutions to Infinigate’s entire EMEA network. Swissbit’s authentication solutions offer secure digital logins based on the FIDO2 standard. In addition to the standard versions, the iShield Key product family also includes Pro versions with additional security protocols such as PIV, HOTP and TOTP. These extended models enable applications in the areas of access control and secure printing, among others.

With the MIFARE and FIPS models, Swissbit also offers the world’s first FIDO security keys that support MIFARE DESFire EV3 or have FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification. All security keys are produced in industrial quality at Swissbit’s own semiconductor production facility in Berlin and guarantee the highest security standards.
