History 2005: Adaptec President and CEO Bob Stephens Retired

Bob Stephens, Adaptec’s  president and CEO, has retired and has been replaced by interim CEO Scott Mercer who served has senior VP and CFO of Western Digital after various positions at Dell and LSI Logic.

Sundi Sundaresh  returns to Adaptec, where he previously served 5 years as GM of personal I/0 business and corporate \/P marketing. He will now assume the role of executive VP of product development and WW marketing, at an annual base salary of $325,000. He was most recently president and CEO of Candera, a start-up that failed.
