NAB Show: Signiant Achieves Multi-Gigabit Transfers on Storj Labs Solution

Storj Labs, Inc. announced client test results using its distributed cloud object storage with intelligent file transfer software from Signiant, Inc.

Signiant Media Shuttle is a reliable way to send any size file, anywhere, fast. The company conducted performance testing on Storj with Media Shuttle to see how well-suited it would be for customers and compare it to alternatives.

Client testing utilizing an Apple M2 Pro CPU and the Signiant SDCX Server software running in a Vultr compute instance with a 4GHz Intel CPU in the Chicago, IL, data center, Signiant achieved remarkable results. With 2 concurrent transfers, it experienced speeds from 4-5Gb/s. It consistently achieved speeds of about 2.5Gb/s per transfer, ranking in the top 1% of all time Media Shuttle transfers.

The testing revealed 2 key elements highly sought after by Signiant customers: 1) the ability to reach multi-gigabit speeds and 2) support simultaneous multi-gigabit transfers.
