History 2003: Bulgarian American Bisser Dimitrov Back in News
As representative of Austrian company CSI
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 30, 2023 at 2:00 pmBisser Dimitrov, the Bulgarian American, is back in the news.
He is still under judicial restraint, forced to check in regularly with authorities in Belfort, France, in the wake of the HDD maker Gigastorage debacle, which dates back to 1996 and is still awaiting judgment.
We recently spotted his name as a representative of Austrian company CSI Handels und Bezeiligungs (member of the Malaysia-based CS Metal Group), in which he holds a 20% stake, and which in turn has acquired a 90% interest in Bulgarian public utility lncoms Telekom Holding.
Dimitrov is highly familiar with Malaysia, since he ran afoul of French authorities when he tried to employ Malaysian workers in his Belfort factory, but he also has Austrian ties, through one of the shareholder banks of Gigastorage.
Incidentally, among CS Metal’s activities, we can’t help notice, is the manufacture of metal parts for HDDs.
