History 2000: Plasmon to Acquire Two Companies

Plasmon Data is preparing to acquire 2 different companies:

• for £3 million a unit of Toolex International NV, Toolex France, formerly Digipress, a 28-employee supplier of masters and stampers for CDs and DVDs;
• for £1.9 million the LMS Technical Services, a service repair firm for 12-inch optical drives.

Last March, Toolex announced a multi-year collaboration contract with Plasmon for future optical disk technologies.
