4Q21 Revenue Growth of 30% for Nakivo

Now with 20,000 paid customers in 166 countries

NAKIVO Inc. announced its 4Q21 financial results.

It has managed to maintain a growth level, achieving:

Revenue:
In 4Q21, revenue in Europe, the Americas, the EMEA, as well as the AsiaPac region, grew by 30% in comparison to 4Q20. Of the total revenue in 4Q21, 57% came from the EMEA region, 35% from the Americas, and 8% from the AsiaPac region. The United States, Germany, and South Africa were the highest sources of revenue in 4Q21.

Revenue grew more than 100% Q/Q in India, Ireland, Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Panama, Curacao, Croatia, Guatemala, Nepal, Finland, Luxembourg, Colombia, Singapore, Indonesia, Canada, Ukraine, Hungary, Lithuania, French Polynesia, and others.

Customers:
Currently, the company has over 20,000 paid customers in 166 countries. The customer base grew by 21% in 4Q21 vs. 4Q2O. The number of new customers grew by 23% in the EMEA, 21% in the AsiaPac, and 18% in the Americas. For the first time, the firm expanded into Croatia, Latvia, Micronesia, and Timor-Leste. Enterprises continue to select firm’s Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 52% in 4Q21 vs. 4Q2O.

A sample of customers in 4Q21 includes the Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan, Universal Merchant Bank, Conet Communications GmbH, First Atlantic Bank, LaPorte County Government, National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Some examples of customer success stories in 4Q21 include HosTeam (Polish MSP Safeguards Customer Data with NAKIVO), The Institute of Bucaramanga (NAKIVO Reduces Administrative Effort for a Cardiovascular Clinic), and San Luis Clinic (NAKIVO Improves Backup Reliability for a Maternity Clinic).

Technology Partners:
In 4Q21, the company delivered Backup & Replication via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install this software on partner hardware. Particularly, Asustor NAS installations grew by 79% in 4Q21 vs. 4Q20.

Solution Partners:
Today, the vendor has 6,800 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East, and the AsiaPac region. In 4Q21, 283 new solution providers joined the firm’s Partner Program and now offer its products to their enterprise and SMB customers. Solution partners from Guam, Jamaica, Martinique, Micronesia, and Timor-Leste joined the partner program for the first time.

MSPs: 
NMSP Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM backup as-a-service (BaaS), VM replication as-a-service (RaaS), and VM DR as-aservice (DRaaS) for their customers. In 4Q21, the number of MSPs grew by 81% vs. 4Q20, and for the first time, MSPs from Martinique, Montenegro, and Réunion joined the partner program.

Product Releases: 
In 2021, the company released the following product versions:
• v10.2 with support for SharePoint Online and S3 Object Lock
• v10.3 with new features for Microsoft 365, VMware Cloud Director, HPE 3PAR devices, and MSPs
• v10.4 with immutable repository and two-factor authentication
• v10.5 with Hardened AV and IT Monitoring

We wrapped up the last quarter of 2021 with a strong worldwide revenue growth of 30% that was attributed to the joint effort of our entire team across the globe,” said CEO Bruce Talley. “For the whole year, we worked on improving the functionality of our product by delivering four new product updates that enhanced our Microsoft 365 offering and anti-ransomware protection. Moreover, along with the v10.5 of Backup & Replication, we released a completely new IT monitoring solution for vSphere environments. Our goal is to deliver our customers and partners the most comprehensive solution that lets them protect their data, prevent ransomware attacks, and have proper visibility into their environment’s health and performance.”
