3Q21 Revenue Growth of 144% From 3Q20 in AsiaPac for Nakivo

Presently has over 20,000 paid customers in 162 countries.

NAKIVO Inc. announced its 3Q21 financial results.

In 3Q21, it achieved the following:

  • Revenue: Revenue in the AsiaPac region grew by 144% in Q3 2021, compared to 3Q20. In 3Q21, of the total revenue, 48% came from the EMEA region, 33% came from the Americas, and 19% came from the AsiaPac region. The largest sources of revenue in 3Q21 were USA, Germany, and Taiwan. Revenue grew more than 100% Q/Q in Australia, Curacao, Denmark, Finland, French Polynesia, Guatemala, India, Latvia, Malta, Nepal, Taiwan, Ukraine, Argentina, Barbados, Ghana, Jordan, Norway, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and others.
  • Customers: Presently, the company has over 20,000 paid customers in 162 countries. The customer base grew by 23% in 3Q21 vs. 3Q20. The number of new customers grew by 25% in the EMEA region, 24% in AsiaPac, and 17% in the Americas. For the first time, firms from Malawi, Paraguay, and Belize became customers. Enterprises are continuing to select Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 22% in 3Q21 vs. 3Q20. A sample of customers in 3Q21 includes National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan, Universal Merchant Bank, City of Loveland, First Atlantic Bank, Town of Sudbury, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and others. Some examples of customer stories in 3Q21 include Cyllene (NAKIVO Helps IT Service Management Company Meet SLAs), Lakes Grammar (Australian School Switches to NAKIVO and Saves 60% on Backup Costs) and the Greater Grace (Hungarian School Relies on NAKIVO for Smooth Daily Operations).
  • Technology partners: In 3Q21, the firm delivered its solutions via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install Backup & Replication on partner hardware. Particularly, NETGEAR ReadyNAS installations grew by 108% in 3Q21 vs. 3Q20.
  • Solution partners: Currently, the company has 6,500 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle-East, and AsiaPacn. In 3Q21, 197 new solution providers joined its Partner Program and now offer firm’s products to their enterprise and SMB customers.
  • MSPs: MSP Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM backup as a service (BaaS), VM replication as a service (RaaS), and VM DR as a service (DRaaS) for their customers. In 3Q21, the number of MSPs grew by 90% vs. 3Q20 and for the first time, MSPs from Guatemala, Romania, and Ukraine joined the partner program.

The outstanding growth of 3Q21 revenue is attributed to our hard-working sales team in Taiwan that work closely with distributors and resellers, in order to deliver Backup & Replication to the AsiaPac region,” said CEO Bruce Talley. “This quarter, we introduced new features to enhance ransomware resilience so that the data of our customers is recoverable even after a ransomware attack. Our goal is to deliver our customers the most sophisticated solution that lets them beat ransomware without negotiating with hackers.
