Qnap QXG-100G2SF-E810 Dual-Port 100GbE Network Expansion PCIe 4.0 Card

Qnap Systems, Inc. launches the QXG-100G2SF-E810 its first dual-port 100GbE network expansion card.

Featuring an Intel Ethernet Controller E810 and PCIe 4.0, it0 provides up to 100Gb/s bandwidth for the company’s NAS or Windows/Linux devices to attain optimal performance in a range of applications and services. It is a match for unleashing the potential of the firm‘s TS-h2490FU NVMe all-flash storage that can be paired with high-speed switches for high-performance, low-latency data centers.

Use 100GbE switch. Set one 100GbE connection as main route
and other 100GbE as backup route

The QXG-100G2SF-E810 is for I/O-intensive and latency-sensitive virtualization and data centers, and boosts network efficiency with the support of iWARP/RDMA and SR-IOV (coming soon). When used in a server or workstation, it supports Windows Server (2016 or 2019) and Linux platforms (drivers required).

Use QNAP 25GbE switch (coming soon) and QSFP28 to (4) SFP28 cables
to connect 100GbE port on QXG-100G2SF-E810 to four 25GbE ports
on switch. Set group of QSFP28 to (4) SFP28 connection as main route
and other as backup route.

The company’s 24-bay TS-h2490FU NVMe all-flash storage features a PCIe Gen 4 x16 slot that allows the QXG-100G2SF-E810 to realize 100Gb/s performance, helping to overcome bottlenecks in data centers, virtualization, multimedia, and mission-critical backup/restore tasks.
