During this time, TeraStation 3010 products will remain commercially available through the company‘s authorized sales channels.

The TeraStation 3020 family of desktop and rackmount NAS featuring native 2.5GbE has been designated as the replacement product series for the TeraStation 3010 series. Purpose-built to provide dynamic storage solutions, the TeraStation 3020 family offers larger storage capacities (up to 32TB) and is available in fully- and partially-populated models. Partially populated models allow users to enjoy the flexibility of fulfilling their storage needs now while having the option to expand later as they see fit. Pre-configured RAID and pre-tested NAS-grade HDDs included ensure out-of-the-box reliability and ease-of-use.

TeraStation 3020 series devices also include a native 2.5GbE Ready Port that enables professional-level productivity at an entry level price. 2.5GbE provides 2.5x faster transfer speeds than standard GbE (1GbE), increasing network performance. With network devices that support 2.5GbE, businesses can access and transfer data faster on the same network without the need to upgrade to CAT6 cabling.

TeraStation NAS devices come in a closed system that provides a safeguard vs. many cyberthreats, and are considered as secure network storage solutions. As with other Buffalo NAS devices, the TeraStation 3020 comes with a standard 3-year warranty and can qualify for company‘s free logical data recovery service when registered.
