Altaro VM Backup Launching Free Backup Offer Until 30 June 2021

Customers of Altaro VM Backup, a backup solution for virtual environments, can backup any VMs running on Azure Stack HCI for free until 30 June 2021.

This initiative forms part of Altaro VM Backup’s support for Azure Stack HCI, the HCI solution, which reached availability.

Ability to backup VMs running on Azure Stack HCI
VM Backup is a VM backup and replication solution for Hyper-V and VMware environments. It provides businesses, organizations, and channel partners with streamlined, enterprise functionality coupled with ease of use, speed, affordability and 24/7 technical support.

It provides support for Azure Stack HCI, allowing users to backup VMs running on this HCI solution with built-in hybrid capabilities, so that organizations needing some workloads to remain on premises can keep those local while enjoying the benefits of the cloud.

Azure Stack HCI consolidates traditional virtual apps that must remain on-premises on industry-standard servers with software-defined compute, storage, and networking and combines it with the power of Azure hybrid services. With it, users can run VMs on-premises and connect to Azure for management, monitoring, billing and access to services such as Azure file sync.

Support for Azure Stack HCI also includes Altaro’s purpose-built solution for MSPs, through which they can provide VM and physical Windows server backup and recovery services. Altaro VM Backup for MSPs enables providers of managed IT services to configure, manage and monitor backups and restores via a ground-breaking, multi-tenant console that provides a single-pane-of glass view across all their customers.
