Betsol Acquires Zmanda Enterprise Backup From Carbonite
This later bought Zmanda in November 2012 for $15 million

Zmanda is an enterprise backup and DR solution with hundreds of enterprise customers. In cloud and open-source backup software, it protects over 1,000,000 systems worldwide.

Zmanda will enable BETSOL to strengthen its portfolio in the enterprise backup and DR market while complementing its Rebit product line which already serves the consumer and SMB markets.

Based in Colorado, BETSOL is a product engineering and managed IT Services company, with an heritage in enterprise products and solutions. It offers several products such as Rebit, Zmanda, and Leto.
