Based in St. Petersburg, FL, he will lead the company in building a community amongst MSP partners as well as loyal customers. He will be working on several community initiatives around CloudBerry solutions.

Hazelman has a track record of helping small software companies. Most recently, he was VP of product strategy at Veeam Software. While at Veeam for nearly 10 years, he helped build a community of Veeam and virtualization enthusiasts. He was a member of the Veeam executive committee and helped the team determine the technology direction of the company as well as understand the markets and demands of the industry.

CloudBerry recently announced availability of CloudBerry Backup 5.8 with ransomware protection. Ransomware attacks have become more prevalent, with victims losing access to critical business and personal data. The firm is committed to security, and this update protects customers’ backups when ransomware is detected.
