Doug Hazelman VP, Product Strategy and Chief Evangelist, Veeam

An expert in virtualization, Hazelman was one of Veeam’s first employees, serving as the company’s original systems engineer. He quickly built a worldwide team of accredited individuals and became Director of the Global Systems Engineering Group. When Hazelman was promoted to Senior Director, Product Strategy, he became Veeam’s spokesperson, which has expanded to Chief Evangelist. Hazelman will continue to present on behalf of Veeam at industry conferences and consult with customers, partners and industry analysts.

In addition to establishing the Veeam blog, which contains news and updates about Veeam management solutions and virtualization technologies, Hazelman started @Veeam and @VMDoug during the very early days of Twitter. Hazelman is also a VMware vExpert 2011.
Prior to joining Veeam, Hazelman was an IT infrastructure consultant with Bennett Adelson. Earlier in his career he was the Director of Product Management for Migration Solutions at Quest Software. He was with Aelita Software in various technical and product management roles for more than five years before it was acquired by Quest in 2004.
