"We are excited about the new features in this version. These new features, such as the event log and PDF will make it easier to use for our small business and advanced users," said Daniel C. Elfort, Founder and CEO of SoSure.
The transparency feature was added through a 24 hour log in the client itself. This allows the user to see exactly what the program is doing, and what has been backed up or restored. In case the user needs support, the logs can be sent to SoSure by the click of a single button, allowing SoSure to diagnose issues quicker, and thereby providing better support to users.
PDF files are a very common file type used especially by small businesses. In version 1.2.0, SoSure has made backing up .pdf files a default file type, allowing users to backup these files quicker and easier. SoSure users have the ability to store their .pdf files on IBM hosted servers. These servers are fireproof and located in a demilitarized zone, making them some of the safest in the world.
SoSure has given all users more features to make the use of the program easier for all skill levels. SoSure has made the program easier to understand by making storage size numbers listed in GB instead of MB, as well as a feature that displays file types when moused over.
SoSure has been developing the program, together with IBM, to run even smoother in the background of the user’s computer. The program has been optimized to allow for the least amount of usage on the consumer’s PC, making it use even fewer resources to run and automatically backup data.
SoSure offers a free 30 day trial and has been developed primarily for private users and small to medium sized companies and will be available through SoSure’s partners and resellers.
