Emulex Joins VMware Alliance Affiliate Initiative

Emulex Corporation is participating in the VMware Alliance Affiliate Initiative to provide partners with customized, exclusive programs and incentives for selling Emulex products combined with VMware virtualization solutions. As the only connectivity partner in the VMware Alliance Affiliate Initiative, Emulex’s channel partners will benefit from added profitability opportunities and be rewarded for creating complete server virtualization solutions for customers.

Emulex has long been a leader in developing and driving new technology and standards, such as N-Port ID Virtualization (NPIV), to fuel server virtualization adoption. Emulex’s Virtual HBA technology, with support for NPIV, allows end users to effectively ‘virtualize’ the SAN connection such that each virtual machine has independent access to its own protected storage.
