Alternative Technology Signs Distribution Agreement With Double-Take

Alternative Technology, Inc., an Arrow Electronics, Inc. company, announced an agreement with Double-Take® Software to distribute its flagship product, Double-Take for Windows.
 
Alternative Technology will leverage its virtualization presence in the North American channel, education and technical resources to expand the reach of Double-Take Software’s award-winning solutions. Double-Take Software is a leading provider of affordable software for data recovery, including continuous data replication, application availability and system state protection. Double-Take Software products and services enable customers to protect and recover business-critical data and applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, and SharePoint in both physical and virtual environments.
 
Effective Oct. 9, 2008, Alternative Technology solution providers will be able to offer the following recoverability and data replication solutions:

• Double-Take for Windows
• TimeData
• GeoCluster
• Double-Take for Virtual Systems
• Double-Take for VMware Infrastructure
• Double-Take for Windows Small Business Server
• Double-Take for Linux
