Disc Link, Subsidiary of Acacia, Entered Into a License Agreement With Block Financial

Acacia Research Corporation announced that its Disc Link Corporation subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Block Financial LLC, a subsidiary of H&R Block, Inc., covering patents relating to portable storage devices with links.

The portable storage devices with links technology generally relates to products sold or distributed on CDs or DVDs that include a link to retrieve additional data via the Internet.

Acacia Research’s subsidiaries develop, acquire, and license patented technologies. Acacia Research’s subsidiaries control 97 patent portfolios, which include U.S. patents and certain foreign counterparts, covering technologies used in a wide variety of industries.
