Purdue University is a world renowned educational institution located in Indiana with over 40,000 students. Founded in 1869, the University is one of the nation’s leading research institutions with a reputation for excellent and affordable education.
“We’ve used NTP Software products for over 10 years and they have always been robust and easy to configure, with judicious use of server resources,” said Dennis Homco, the University’s Assistant Director of Technology Computer Network. “When we decided to upgrade our functionality, we found NTP Software technology was still the best choice for us in the marketplace. We look forward to implementing the NTP Software End-User Support Infrastructure to provide users with enhanced communication and the tools to help eliminate obsolete and unwanted files.”
Purdue selected NTP Software QFS for its policy-based, real-time control and management of their Windows servers. QFS helps ensure the storage space available to their end-users is being consumed properly, and lowers the cost of administering storage.
“We are excited that Purdue University has decided to deploy NTP Software QFS,” stated Aaron Dufoe, vice president of sales at NTP Software. “It has become increasingly important that educational institutions protect their storage resources so they can continue to provide the exceptional standards their end-users expect. Like many other well established universities, Purdue University has taken the proper steps to secure a well managed storage environment.”
