Tally Installs exchange@PAM Email Archiving Software From H&S
Cutting disk storage from 550BG to 250GB
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 8, 2008 at 3:45 pmTALLY WEiJL Trading AG, the international fashion house, has announced the deployment of exchange@PAM, the email archiving system from H&S Software.
Thomas Wettstaedt, head of IT infrastructure states: "TALLY WEiJL made a firm decision to install the exchange@PAM email archiving software from H&S because we were impressed by its transparency, technology and price. exchange@PAM has lived up to our expectations in full. Since installing the email archiving system, we have dramatically reduced the disk space taken up by mailboxes, which has enabled us to cut running costs."
TALLY WEiJL’s Microsoft Exchange Server was inundated with mounting information forcing the company to rethink their email storage setup. Valuable time was being wasted looking for particular emails and restoring deleted files. It was decided that an email archiving solution was the answer. After the deployment of exchange@PAM, over two million objects were archived and the Microsoft Exchange Store was reduced from 550GB to 250GB.
TALLY WEiJL particularly required an email archiving system to be transparent for their employees, avoiding end user training. exchange@PAM provided that solution. The implementation process was a painless procedure without any major difficulties. exchange@PAM continues to surpass TALLY WEiJL’s expectations.
