Dell Storage Revenue Improved 11% in 2FQ09 at $681 Million

"Storage revenue was up 11% in the quarter. This growth, which yielded improved profitability, was fueled by our PowerVault disk products and EqualLogic ISCSI network storage solutions."

"Storage had a great quarter. There was some portfolio balancing toward the higher margin products. You know, PowerVault was up quite strongly, with PowerVault disk growing very, very strong. EqualLogic grew year over year more than 150% and operating income levels at storage were at kind of record levels. So we’re seeing strong growth in that business and investing heavily in it."
