QLogic IB Adapters Certified

QLogic Corp. announced that QLogic 7200 Series InfiniBand double data rate (DDR) adapters have been certified as Intel Cluster Ready. The Intel Cluster Ready program makes it easier to design, build, sell, program, acquire, and deploy high performance computer clusters. By achieving Intel Cluster Ready certification, ISVs build customer confidence that applications written to run on one certified cluster can reliably run on another certified cluster; conversely, a certified cluster will support multiple Intel Cluster Ready ISV applications. Since Intel has developed the program in collaboration with OEMs, channel partners, and ISVs, end users can now confidently select and deploy QLogic 7200 Series DDR adapters for interoperability with a variety of hardware and software components.

The powerful QLogic 7200 Series DDR InfiniBand adapters are based on the new QLogic TrueScale ASIC platform and deliver the highest messaging rate and lowest scalable latency compared to any competitive cluster interconnect available today. The QLogic 7200 family of InfiniBand adapters also represents the advancement of InfiniBand as a highly reliable network solution for high performance computing (HPC) customers, with the industry’s first three-year warranty.
