BakBone Software Dismissed Deloitte & Touche as Auditor

The Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of BakBone Software Inc. dismissed Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm.

The company announced the appointment of Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. as the Company’s new independent auditor effective August 13, 2008. Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C., an independent registered public accounting firm, was approved by the Audit Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors following the evaluation of audit proposals and discussions with several public accounting firms.
