Release of Time Navigator Version 4.2 by Atempo

Atempo, Inc. announced the release of Time Navigator
4.2, the company’s flagship high-performance backup and recovery
solution, to provide greater levels of usability including ease of
installation and configuration required for both mid-market and large
enterprise customers.

New features of Time Navigator include
a simplified installation wizard, a storage device auto-discovery tool,
a configuration assistant to more easily set up the backup process, and
an enhanced logs and alarms interface. In addition, Time Navigator now
delivers improved performance, as well as support for Sharepoint 2007
and Novell iFolder 3.

The new configuration tools in Time
Navigator 4.2 allow both advanced and novice users to easily customize
the software to meet their unique data protection and management
challenges, and the simplified installation process allows
administrators to begin taking advantage of the software’s cornerstone
backup and recovery features faster than ever. The secure tiered
storage management solution enables medium to large-size organizations
to seamlessly manage data throughout its lifecycle. In addition to
providing critical data protection, the software’s powerful Time
Navigation capability allows users to quickly and effortlessly restore
files from any point in time off any tier in a storage environment.
