HP: Fiscal 1Q08 Financial Results
$977 million for the storage revenues, down 4% quarterly, up 10% yearly

For its fiscal Q1 2008 ending in January 31, HP records $977 million in revenues for its storage activity, a figure down 4% from the preceding quarter ($1,015 million) and up 10% compared to the same period one year ago ($886 million). The revenue growth of the midrange EVA line is 14% year-to-year.
For this most recent quarter, Enterprise Storage and Servers (ESS) reported revenue of $4.8
billion, up 9% over the prior-year period fueled by ESS blades, which
grew 81%. On a year-over-year basis, industry-standard server revenue
increased 11%. ESS records earnings of $673 million for this three-month period.
