Synergy Medical Education Alliance Deployed NetApp’s StoreVault

StoreVault, a NetApp division, announced that Synergy Medical Education
Alliance has deployed the StoreVault S500 all-in-one storage solution
to maximize data availability, increase backup and recovery
reliability, and improve performance.

Synergy Medical supports educational initiatives for undergraduate
medical students, residents in training, and active physicians
throughout the Saginaw community in Michigan. With 1.5 terabytes (TB)
of data scattered across 11 legacy storage and server systems, the
education alliance team was struggling to manage massive data growth,
adhere to proper backup and restore policies, and provide the best
levels of data security. With the technical expertise of its reseller,
Netsource One, the company upgraded its technology infrastructure with
two StoreVault storage systems to gain control of its fast-growing and
changing business.
