The Kedem brothers are back with a new project
By Philippe Nicolas | October 30, 2026 at 2:01 pmZiv and Oded Kedem are back with a new enterprise, Dreeze, initiated in Dover, Delaware, with operations in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The company was launched in June 2025 and raised so far $33M from Norwest and Bessemer in a seed round in October 2025. Ziv is noted as CEO and Oded as CTO.
As our readers remember, they founded, developed and sold 2 companies: Kashya and Zerto, both playing in the data protection domain. Kashya, founded in 2000, was acquired by EMC in 2006 for $153M and Zerto, founded in 2009, by HPE in 2021 for $374 million. It was in a pretty famous moment where Continuous Data Protection aka CDP was a top concern for companies.
Speaking with them recently, they will unveil their new story in a few days targeting cloud data recovery with some innovative ideas related to application dependencies and requirements named Application Revival to guarantee RTO and business continuity. We’ll learn more very soon now.
