ai-PULSE 2026: Scaleway Announces New GPU Zone in Copenhagen Powered by Nvidia HGX B300

The new deployment will expand access to high-performance AI computing in Europe, responding to growing demand for European-controlled GPU capacity

At ai-PULSE 2026, Scaleway, an European cloud and AI provider, announces plans to open a new GPU Zone in Copenhagen, Denmark, powered by Nvidia HGX B300.Scaleway LogoAs demand for AI computing continues to accelerate, European organizations are increasingly looking for access to advanced GPU technologies while maintaining control over where their workloads are hosted and operated. The new Copenhagen GPU Zone will respond to these needs, extending Scaleway’s GPU offering to Denmark and bringing computing capacity closer to customers across Northern Europe.

The announcement builds on Scaleway’s established presence in Denmark, where it already serves customers across different sectors, including public institutions such as the city of Copenhagen and AI innovators like Corti.

GPU Zones: scaling AI computing across Europe
Scaleway is introducing GPU Zones, dedicated locations designed to provide large-scale GPU capacity for AI training and inference, complementing its existing cloud Availability Zones.

Scaleway’s GPU Zone strategy is designed to bring high-performance AI computing closer to European customers while prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability. Locations are carefully selected based on several factors, including proximity to customers, access to reliable, low-carbon energy and favorable climate conditions that can help reduce cooling requirements. All sites are located within the European Union, in line with Scaleway’s commitment to remaining a 100% European cloud provider and keeping its operations under European jurisdiction.

Copenhagen meets all these criteria. With its established technology ecosystem, access to low-carbon electricity, cooler climate and strategic location in Northern Europe, Denmark offers the conditions to expand AI computing capacity while supporting Scaleway’s commitment to European technological independence.

“Access to high-performance AI computing is becoming a strategic priority for European organizations, and they increasingly want that capacity delivered by providers they can trust. With our new GPU Zone in Copenhagen, we’re responding to that demand by bringing the latest Nvidia technologies closer to customers, while staying true to our commitment to European technological independence,”  said Damien Lucas, CEO, Scaleway.
