Intelligent Memory Adds Sourceability as its New Global Distributor
Sourceability is expanding its memory portfolio to help customers address immediate supply challenges and support new design-ins for long-lifecycle programs
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 9, 2026 at 2:00 pmIntelligent Memory, a manufacturer of industrial-grade memory and storage solutions, has signed Sourceability, a hybrid global electronics distributor, as its new global distribution partner.
The collaboration brings together two organizations with a strong strategic fit: deep expertise in industrial and embedded markets and the geographic reach required to support customers across multiple regions with consistent, long-term supply.
By adding Intelligent Memory to its franchise line, Sourceability is expanding its memory portfolio to help customers address immediate supply challenges and support new design-ins for long-lifecycle programs. The focus of the collaboration is on DRAM components and managed NAND flash memory for industrial automation, transportation, energy, medical, and other embedded systems.
“From our very first interactions, Sourceability demonstrated exceptional engagement and focus,” said Alistair Jones, global head, sales and marketing, Intelligent Memory. “Based on data-driven insights, the team genuinely understands what customers need right now, but also how to set them up for future success. We are truly confident that we have founded a partnership that provides customers with access to a broader range of memory options backed by responsive support and a global footprint.”
Both companies share a customer-first approach focused on reliability, availability, and technical alignment, key requirements in industrial and embedded environments where qualification cycles are long and continuity of supply is critical. By combining Intelligent Memory’s targeted portfolio of DRAM components, managed NAND memory, and DRAM modules with Sourceability’s worldwide sales coverage and supply chain capabilities, customers benefit from a streamlined path to sourcing, qualification, and sustained product support.
“Our commitment to customers has always extended far beyond procurement needs at the product design phase – it spans the entire lifecycle,” said Andrew Heath, director, product management, Sourceability. “By partnering with a manufacturer that shares our philosophy, we are reinforcing our long-term commitment and strengthening the relationships we value. Intelligent Memory’s dedication to their customers combined with their reliability and consistency, makes this relationship a natural fit for us.”
As the ongoing volatility in the memory market continues, Intelligent Memory and Sourceability are working together to help their customers navigate DDR3 and DDR4 end-of-life, allocation risks, and shifting supply-demand dynamics.
