Mark Cree has founded his own consulting firm, Upside Insights, following a long career in executive and leadership positions across the technology industry. His extensive experience building, managing and scaling companies puts him in a strong position to advise executives at different stages of their company’s journey and development.
He recently joined the board of Mulga and, prior to launching Upside Insights, served as president and COO of Scale Computing. Earlier, he was SVP of strategic partnerships at Hammerspace and GM at AWS, where he led the Storage Gateway business.
His entrepreneurial track record includes founding and serving as CEO of InfiniteIO, as well as holding the same role at StorSpeed, which was later acquired by NetApp through the CacheIQ deal. Cree also served as VP/GM at Cisco following its acquisition of NuSpeed in 2000, a company he had launched in 1999. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Neo Networks and Switches Network Technologies.
