IBC 2026: Evertz Highlights New Studer VistaVUE Touch Capabilities

VistaVUE Touch gives operators the flexibility to create a workspace around the requirements of a production rather than working within a fixed console layout

At IBC 2026, Evertz, a player in broadcast and media technology solutions, showcases Studer VistaVUE Touch, a customizable production environment that brings audio, video, routing, monitoring and control together within a single operator interface.Evertz Microsystems LogoBuilt on the Evertz VUE intelligent user interface and Studer audio technology, VistaVUE Touch gives operators the flexibility to create a workspace around the requirements of a production rather than working within a fixed console layout. Touch displays, VistaVUE fader modules, Studer Vistonics and additional hardware panels can be combined to provide the balance of tactile and touch-based control preferred by each operator.

One Workspace for Audio, Video and Control
VistaVUE Touch extends beyond traditional audio mixing by providing access to audio mixing and metering, video monitoring, router management and Spatial IQ control from a configurable VUE interface.

Operators can create layouts suited to different productions and adapt the work surface as requirements change. Dedicated Evertz or third-party hardware panels can also be incorporated, giving facilities greater flexibility in how existing and new control elements are brought together.

This approach allows production teams to consolidate access to multiple systems within one customizable environment while maintaining the tactile feedback required for critical audio operations.

Flexible Control for Sports Production
VistaVUE Touch also incorporates Spatial IQ, a mixing interface designed for sports production. Spatial IQ presents microphone coverage visually across the field of play, allowing operators to select areas of interest directly from the interface while the system dynamically manages microphone activity.

When positional data is available, this process can be further automated, helping audio engineers to manage complex sports audio workflows more efficiently while maintaining direct control when needed.

Collaborative and Remote Workflows
Integration with MAGNUM-OS expands VistaVUE Touch beyond a single physical control surface. Multiple VUE touch panels can simultaneously manage a single physical or virtual Studer control surface over a standard LAN/WAN connection.

This provides greater flexibility in how operators and production teams access the same control environment, supporting both remote connectivity and local virtualized control surfaces. Facilities can adapt operator positions to different production requirements without being limited to one fixed console location or configuration.

By combining configurable touch interfaces, physical controls and centralized system integration, VistaVUE Touch gives broadcasters a flexible way to support changing production workflows while making more efficient use of control resources.

Visitors to IBC 2026, taking place September 11-14 at the RAI Amsterdam, are invited to visit Evertz at booth 2.A47 to learn more about Studer VistaVUE Touch and how its expanded audio, video and control capabilities can support customizable and collaborative production workflows.
