Raidon Technology Announces Stardom UR2D-B32, a Professional Dual U.2 Hardware RAID Storage System

Raidon Technology introduces the UR2D-B32, it is a professional dual-bay U.2 hardware RAID storage system designed for high-speed, serviceable workstation deployment.Its USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C host interface provides up to 20Gbps link bandwidth, while the integrated hardware RAID controller supports RAID 1, BIG, and JBOD independently of the host operating system.

Unlike compact portable NVMe enclosures, the UR2D-B32 combines lockable front-access U.2 drive trays, dedicated power, active cooling, temperature and fan monitoring, audible alerts, and RAID rebuild-progress indicators. This serviceable architecture makes it well suited to sustained professional workloads including video production, CAD, workstation virtualization, digital asset management, software development, and high-speed local data protection.

• Intelligent Monitoring
  Front-panel LEDs and audible alerts indicate power, drive activity, drive failure, alarm conditions, and RAID rebuild progress at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%

• Thermal Protection
  The system monitors internal temperature and fan operation. If the temperature exceeds 60°C or the fan stops, the Alarm LED flashes and the buzzer sounds. Pressing the Mute button silences the buzzer but does not clear the alarm condition

• Active Cooling and Dedicated Power
  An aluminum enclosure, all-metal trays, and a 30mm High/Low-speed fan help manage heat during sustained workloads. A dedicated 12V/4.2A power adapter provides independent system power
