Winbond: Fiscal 2Q26 Financial Results
Generating NT$59.843 billion, up 56.4% QoQ and up 184.7% YoY
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on August 10, 2026 at 2:01 pmWinbond Electronics Corp. announced its business results for the second quarter of 2026, consolidated revenue totaled NT$59.843 billion, an increase of 184.7% compared to the same period of 2025.
The gross margin was 66.2% and net income attributable to the parent company amounted to NT$24.317 billion, resulting in earnings per share of NT$5.40.
The Customized Memory Solution (CMS) product line accounted for 53% of Q2 2026 revenue, primarily driven by strong AI-related demand. Blended ASP increased by approximately 100% QoQ, reflecting both higher pure ASP and a favorable product mix. Revenue contribution from 20nm products continued to increase steadily, with further growth expected over the coming quarters. The Flash memory product line represented 33% of revenue, supported by a significant increase in revenue contribution from 24nm and 32nm SLC NAND products. The Logic IC product line accounted for 13% of revenue. The other product line accounted for 1% of revenue.
The distribution of memory product revenue among all application categories in Q2 2026 was as follows: communication electronics 29%, consumer electronics 28%, automotive & industrial applications 28%, and computer-related products 15%.
