Goodram RIVAL and Goodram PRO – Polish Manufacturer Introduces Two New Memory Brands
With a new structure for the product portfolio
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 11, 2026 at 2:00 pmBuying RAM memory or an SSD increasingly requires comparing many parameters, labels and product series. For some users, this is a natural part of choosing hardware, but for many people, too much information makes it harder to make a quick decision.
Goodram wants to simplify this process by organizing its portfolio and introducing a clearer product structure – from everyday use, through gaming, to professional applications.
The Polish manufacturer of computer memory has announced a new structure for its product portfolio. The changes are intended to help users match products to real use cases without having to analyze the technical spec of each model in detail.
Goodram becomes the brand covering the company’s entire portfolio. What changes, however, is the way product lines for specific applications are communicated. The idea is simple: at first glance, the user should know whether a given product has been designed for everyday work, gaming or more demanding professional applications.
As the manufacturer emphasizes, more and more people today expect a simple and intuitive choice. Not every user wants to compare detailed technical parameters to find the right model for their computer. A person upgrading a laptop for work or study needs different solutions than a gamer building a high-performance PC, while a creator working with large files or video materials has different requirements again. That is why the portfolio structure itself is intended to serve as a clear guide and help users find the right product faster.
Three consumer brands for different applications
In the new structure, the Goodram brand remains dedicated to solutions for everyday use. It includes RAM memory, SSDs and flash storage media intended for home computers, laptops and standard office and multimedia applications.
The Goodram RIVAL brand will be developed with gamers and users expecting higher performance in mind. These solutions are designed for people building gaming PCs, upgrading their setups or wanting to speed up the operation of their system and games.
Goodram PRO, in turn, will focus on products for professionals, creators and more demanding users. This includes applications such as video editing, graphics, working with large files or tasks that require stable operation under long-term load.
The new structure is intended above all to simplify the selection process and help users find products that match the specific way they use their computer more quickly.
What happens next with the IRDM brand?
The changes will also apply to products previously developed under the IRDM brand. Gaming and performance solutions will be gradually moved to the Goodram RIVAL and Goodram PRO brands – depending on their purpose and target group.
The company emphasizes that the process will be spread over time, which is why IRDM products will remain available on the market during the transition period.
For current users, the most important point is that the portfolio reorganization does not affect the technical parameters, compatibility, warranty terms or technical support of the products.
According to the manufacturer, the change is primarily intended to organize the offer from the user’s perspective. Its goal is to simplify the way differences between individual brands are communicated and to make it easier for customers to find the product best suited to their needs.
New packaging and markings will appear gradually
The changes will be implemented in stages over the coming months. Users will see new packaging, a refreshed visual identity and gradual changes in the naming of selected products.
The company notes that the portfolio reorganization will not affect the availability of current models and has been planned so that the entire process runs as smoothly as possible for both end customers and trade partners.
In the future, new products developed with specific user groups and their needs in mind are also expected to appear under the Goodram RIVAL and Goodram PRO brands.
Quality and support remain unchanged
The manufacturer emphasizes that the changes apply only to the way the product portfolio is organized and communicated. Warranty terms, technical support and the European production and operational facilities of the Goodram brand remain unchanged.
