Unveiled at Informatica World 2026, the innovations bring Informatica’s AI-driven data intelligence directly into the Google Cloud environment and connect Informatica’s trusted data capabilities into multi-agent architectures that span any platform or cloud.
Improving Data Management Productivity with Natural Language Queries
This advancement brings Informatica’s CLAIRE GPT, the company’s conversational AI assistant for enterprise data management, directly to Google Cloud. Using CLAIRE GPT, Data teams can now discover assets, enrich metadata, assess quality, and resolve governance issues through natural language queries. Tasks that once required manual search or multistep workflows can be accomplished in seconds through a simple conversational prompt. CLAIRE GPT is generally available today as part of the Spring 2026 release.
Enabling Open Agentic Interoperability with Support for A2A Protocol
Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol is an open interoperability standard developed by Google, and Informatica CLAIRE data management agents will now support A2A protocol. This enables CLAIRE agents from Informatica to collaborate with AI agents across any platform or vendor. Organizations building agents on Gemini Enterprise will now be able to invoke CLAIRE agents directly within their agentic workflows to access Informatica’s governed enterprise data layer without custom integration, reducing technical overhead. This innovation from Informatica aligns with Salesforce’s broader mission of enabling agentic success, where support for open agent interoperability is key, as demonstrated through its own contributions as a launch partner in Google Cloud’s initial release of the A2A protocol.
“These announcements reflect our shared commitment to making enterprise AI more accessible, trustworthy, and interoperable,” said Rik Tamm-Daniels, VP, ecosystem and technology alliances, Informatica. “With CLAIRE GPT native to Google Cloud and A2A protocol support, Informatica agents become collaborative participants in the broader Agentic Enterprise – reinforcing our role as the data foundation for AI and our commitment to headless data management, wherever customers choose to build.”
“As a Google Cloud and Informatica customer, we’re excited to see these new innovations become available,” said Gaganpreet Randhawa, AVP, enterprise architecture, CNA Insurance. “AI requires a foundation of trusted data with rich context to succeed, and the ability to readily access this data within agentic workflows is crucial.”
“The future of enterprise AI relies on open, interconnected ecosystems where agents can seamlessly collaborate using trusted data,” said Satish Thomas, VP, applied AI and platform ecosystem, Google Cloud. “Our deepened partnership with Informatica will empower customers to build multi-agent workflows with Gemini Enterprise that are rooted in enterprise-grade data management.”
“As both a customer and partner of Google Cloud and Informatica, we see firsthand the power of bringing these capabilities together,” said Gary Kotovets, chief data and analytics officer, Dun & Bradstreet. “Ensuring our verified data is available where and when it’s needed to power agentic workflows will enable organizations to drive real outcomes.”
Availability
CLAIRE GPT on Google Cloud Points of Delivery is available. A2A protocol support will be available with the Fall 2026 release.
