Guillaume Etorre Joins SiPearl as Chief Operating Officer

SiPearl, an European fabless designer of high-performance energy-efficient CPUs for sovereign supercomputing, artificial intelligence and data centres, announces the appointment of Guillaume Etorre as COO.

A seasoned executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor sector (Sigma Designs, Let It Wave, Zoran) as well as the wider electronics industry (Sagemcom, Devialet, Delta Dore) across France and the United States, Guillaume joined SiPearl on January 26, 2026. Reporting to the CEO Philippe Notton, Guillaume oversees a significant portion of the company’s activities, from chip design, applications and reference systems through to operations and quality, as well as information systems.

With the first-generation Rhea1 CPU set to hit the market in the coming weeks, Guillaume will play a key role in accelerating the company’s transition from an R&Ddriven start-up into a leading European semiconductor company.

Guillaume Etorre (Ecole Polytechnique, Télécom Paris) joined SiPearl as COO. A senior executive, with extensive experience in general management roles within start-ups specialising in R&D, as well as in applications and operations for large corporation, he has worked both in France and California. After starting his career designing semiconductor chips for the set-top box and television industries (Sigma Designs, Let It Wave, Zoran), Guillaume moved into the consumer electronics sector (Devialet, Delta Dore Group).

Since January 26, 2026, Guillaume has returned to the semiconductor industry with the mission of supporting SiPearl’s development from a start-up that will launch its first CPU, Rhea1, into a European leader. He is therefore heading up activities relating to processor development, applications, reference systems, operations and quality, as well as information systems and all the relevant teams. Guillaume, who reports directly to Philippe Notton, is a member of SiPearl’s executive committee.

Before joining SiPearl, he was Deputy CEO, General Manager Smart Home business unit of Delta Dore, a specialist in electronic solutions for smart home. In this role, Guillaume grew the business from a French-centric to a European operation and launched a range of groundbreaking products for home energy management.
