MagStor Announces LTO-10 General Availability for Overland NEOxl Tape Libraries

MagStor announces the availability of LTO-10 tape drives for the Overland NEOxl 40 and NEOxl 80 tape libraries, giving existing users a clear upgrade path to 30TB or 40TB native capacity per cartridge and higher performance for modern archive and backup environments.LTO-10 for Overland NEOxl 40/80MagStor’s LTO-10 drives are 100% compatible with the Overland NEOxl 40 and NEOxl 80, including library firmware, robotics, and management interfaces. The drives are available in both FC (FC) and SAS configurations, supporting a range of SAN and DAS deployments.

LTO-10 delivers up to 40TB native capacity and up to 100TB compressed per cartridge, with native transfer rates up to 400 MB/s. For organizations keeping large volumes of data online, nearline, or offsite, the upgrade provides greater density and throughput without replacing the existing library platform.

Support for Overland Library Users
With long-term support becoming a growing concern for many Overland-Tandberg users, MagStor is continuing to support the installed base with compatible LTO-10 drives, trade-in credits on LTO-8 or LTO-9, lifetime technical support, and maintenance agreements for all Overland tape libraries.
