Confirming its development effort in its industry contribution with a pure software approach
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on February 24, 2026 at 2:01 pmStorageNewsletter, one of the storage industry’s most trusted and longest-running publications, today announced Xinnor has been named “Startup of the Year” at the inaugural StorageNewsletter Awards 2026.
The awards attracted more than 100 submissions across 11 categories, evaluated by a seven-member jury of recognized industry experts.
The StorageNewsletter Awards 2026 were established to recognize excellence across the storage industry, spanning media, connectivity, primary and secondary storage, cloud, software, and emerging companies. Xinnor’s win in the Startup of the Year category reflects the company’s role in advancing a critical but often overlooked segment of storage infrastructure: data protection at scale.
“Xinnor has stepped into the advanced data protection arena – an area often treated as implicit by many vendors – yet one that remains a critical focus, particularly at scale. The company has introduced compelling innovations backed by proven results. As modern environments, including HPC and more recently AI, generate massive production data volumes, RAID and erasure coding have become essential components of storage architectures. Xinnor’s product portfolio aligns with this evolution, contributing to the ongoing disruption driven by advanced storage software and software-defined storage solutions,” said Philippe Nicolas, owner and editor of StorageNewsletter and jury president of the StorageNewsletter Awards 2026.
For Xinnor, the award marks a significant milestone as the company continues to expand its footprint in performance-critical storage environments.
“We are honored to be recognized by StorageNewsletter, a publication that has shaped the conversation in storage for decades. This award is a testament to the hard work of our entire team and the trust our customers place in us every day. As AI and HPC workloads push infrastructure to its limits, we believe the industry will increasingly demand what Xinnor delivers. We are just getting started,” said Dmitry Livshits, CEO, Xinnor.
