Echo 20 Thunderbolt 5 Securedock At the 2026 NAB Show, the company will feature 2 new next-gen Thunderbolt 5 docking stations, Echo 20 Thunderbolt 5 SecureDock and Echo 21 Thunderbolt 5 SuperDock. The docks offer users a record number of connectivity options, comprised of 3 Thunderbolt 5 ports; 1x10Gb Ethernet (RJ45) port; 4×10 Gb, 7.5-watt USB-C charging ports; 1x10Gb 15-watt USB-C charging port; 4×10 Gb USB-A ports; 1 port each for HDMI and DisplayPort displays; 2 analog line level output jacks; 1×3.5mm microphone jack; 1×3.5mm combo audio jack, 1xSD 4.0 card slot, and one microSD card slot.

Echo 21 Thunderbolt 5 SuperDock

Sonnet Echo 21 Thunderbolt 5 Superdock The difference between the 2 docks is that the Echo 21 features an internal M.2 NVMe SSD socket that enables users to add up to 8TB of onboard storage with support for data transfers up to 6,600MB/s. Both docks enable users to conveniently connect their computer peripherals — such as storage devices, input devices, headphones, monitors, etc. — to a convenient central point instead of directly to their computer. They connect all those peripheral devices through a single Thunderbolt 5 cable (which can also charge laptop computers with up to 140 watts of power).

Mac mini Rackmount Plus 2-Slot, Thunderbolt 5 PCIe Card Expansion

At the 2026 NAB Show, the firm will showcase its xMac mini (2024+)/Echo II DV T5, a professional 2U rackmount system that transforms Apple Mac mini computers with M4 Pro processors into expandable, high-performance production workstations.

Designed for broadcast, post-production, and high-bandwidth workflows, the system securely mounts 1 or 2 Mac mini computers alongside an Echo II DV T5 Thunderbolt 5 to PCIe card expansion module, adding 2 full-performance PCIe card slots via dual Thunderbolt 5 connections.

This enables simultaneous, maximum-bandwidth operation of demanding PCIe cards — including video I/O, NVMe SSD storage, and 10Gb/25Gb Ethernet adapters — delivering up to 6,000MB/s of PCIe bandwidth per slot for uncompromised performance.

The rackmount fits standard 19-inch equipment racks and provides convenient access to front and rear Mac mini ports, making it for studio, OB truck, and rack-based production environments.

Mac Studio Rackmount Plus 2-Slot, Thunderbolt 5 PCIe Card Expansion

xMac Studio/Echo II DV T5

Sonnet Xmacstudioechoii DvAt the 2026 NAB Show, Sonnet will showcase its xMac Studio/Echo II DV T5 professional 3U rackmount system built to expand Apple Mac Studio computers with M3 Ultra or M4 Max processors.

Designed for high-end content creation, live production, and data-intensive workflows, the system mounts a Mac Studio computer plus an Echo II DV T5 Thunderbolt 5 to PCIe card expansion module adding 2 high-performance PCIe card slots connected via dual Thunderbolt 5 interfaces.

This architecture supports simultaneous full-bandwidth operation of performance-critical PCIe cards — including video capture and playback, NVMe storage, and high-speed networking — delivering up to 6,000MB/s of PCIe bandwidth per slot.

The enclosure fits standard 19-inch racks and maintains easy access to front and rear ports, making it a powerful rack-mount solution for professional production environments.
