Nvidia in Advanced Talks to Acquire AI21 Labs

According to sources familiar with the matter, Nvidia is actively negotiating a potential acquisition of AI21 Labs, with discussions expected to progress over the coming weeks.
AI21 Labs is an Israeli startup focused on building large-scale language models. The potential transaction is expected to value the company at approximately $2–3 billion. To date, AI21 has raised $626.5 million across nine funding rounds, including a $300 million round in May 2025 with participation of Nvidia and Google.
