IBC 2025: Wise Advanced Unveils Storage Solutions

Wise Advanced Co., Ltd. will showcasing its storage solutions at IBC 2025 at Hall: 12, booth number 12.H39.

Solutions recently announced:

Portable SSD 8K – This USB-C is a versatile recording solution built for professional-looking content.

Building on its 4K predecessor, the Portable SSD 8K offers stable sustained writing, clocking in at 700MB/s for the 1TB model, and reaching 1,500MB/s for the 2 and 4TB models. This performance ensures capture of all video codecs on Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, and even the Blackmagic RAW 12K 3:2 (Open Gate) on the PYXIS 12K.

Featuring a USB4 interface, the Portable SSD 8K provides ultra-fast read speeds, accelerating post-production workflows.

“Our close partnership with Blackmagic Design, including working with their rigorous compatibility testing ensures reliable solutions for Blackmagic camera users,” said CW, project manager, Wise Advanced.

The Wise Portable SSD 8K is set to be available in mid-October 2025 and will include a standard 50 cm USB-IF certified USB4 cable.

Archive Desk Drive, ADD Series for professional video editors requiring studio level environments, ensuring a smooth distraction-less editing session.

The sturdy aluminum housing keeps the SSD working hard inside but consistently quiet outside, especially for large multi-TB data transfers. The drive will not slow down as with common workflow SSDs.

“This drive takes me back to our older Wise CFR in 2009,” said Frank Wang, senior product manager. “The devices were huge at that time. However, those big guys will guarantee your mission – complete.”

The Wise Archive Desk Drive will be available at the beginning of December 2025, with capacities of 2, 4, and 8TB.

WA-DSD06 card reader is built with 3 high-speed UHS-II ports (1 SD and 2 microSD), allowing heavy file dumping at maximum speeds — up to 3 cards – all at once. That means no loss of transfer speed, even when downloading simultaneously. The reader comes in a matte black aluminum body and also includes a certified USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable.
